PRIVACY: All applicants information will be held private by The North Star Group, Inc.
501(c)(3). As a corporation run by veteran service members as well as other professionals, it is
family or personal information to persons aided by NSG. If a family or person chooses or wishes
to share their information of how NSG and its affiliates have assisted them it is by their consent
in writing. NSG will not disclose any last names or release any applications or attendees
information to outside parties. NSG will, only with written consent in an effort only to further
assist the families provide applicants information with GOV agencies and ASY.MIL approved
non-profits. All families have signed press releases for photos! NSG will not disclose full names
or information about any parties shown from past events. NSG will not disclose any
information about troop movements or government information with any source.
WHAT IS OPSEC?
OPSEC is keeping potential adversaries from discovering critical Department Of Defense
information. As the name suggests, it protects US operations - planned, in progress and those
completed. Success depends on secrecy and surprise, so the military can accomplish the
mission more quickly and with less risk. Enemies of freedom want this information, and they
are not just after the military member to get it. They want you, the family member.
